Hey guys-

I haven't posted in awhile but this month I am really confused as to what is going on and I need some opinions. I normally have a 14 day LP but I usually start spotting (dark brown) around 12dpo.

This month I got a tiny bit of brown spotting and a smidge of red blood at 10 dpo. I shrugged it off and just thought I was starting early this month. My thoughts were confirmed the next day on 11 dpo when I woke up to dark red blood. I had to wipe a few times to get clean, but I was concerned about how soon my period started because a short LP is the last thing I need right now. So I waited another hour then went back to the bathroom and again had the same red blood that took a few wipes to go away. So I put in a tampon and continued my day a little sad about the short cycle.

During that day I had no AF symptoms, no cramping nothing. By the end of the evening when I took out the tampon there was hardly anything on there except some brown blood. I felt better about that because it didn't seem like my period had started yet, I was just doing my normal spotting thing. I expected to spot the next few days until my period was due which is tomorrow or Tuesday.

Today...I have nothing. Not a single brown spot, nothing. Which at this point in my cycle (12 dpo) is odd. By now I'm usually lining up the panty liners. I should also mention that my temp is still high but it dipped *slightly* the day before the red blood. Now it is back up. Usually when AF starts my temp drops the day before.

So I don't know what to think. Is it possible this is IB? It seemed too much and too dark to be but I am so confused as to why I have nothing right now.

Not that it really matters since no one responded but in case anyone is interested I just got a positive pregnancy test so it seems like it was implantation bleeding.

Ive just seen this ! congrats ! that is so awesome and will be extremely encouraging to anyone who experiences more than just the light spotting IB is thought to be !

Hey Trish congrats!!! I am also 12 dpo on 9dpo I had 2 drops of bright red blood and yesterday and today a tiny bit of old brownish stuff. This gives me a lot of hope because I have had the same thing the last few days! What type of test did u use to confirm the pregnancy?

I actually just used a internet cheapie. I've been trying so long that I never invest in anything more high tech

It surprised me how visible the line was though. I'm 13 dpo and I tested in the middle of the day when I had peed like an hour and a half before.

Hi Trish, i was wondering if u could help me!!
Ok so im not into the whole charting and dpo thing so really not sure how many dpo i am but the last 2 cycles have been every 21 days! Then this cycle my OH and i bd'd roughly around the time i ovulate-i know when im ovulating due to cramps and CM! anyways, this month i have been feeling pretty preggers-TMI but VERY gassy, fatigue,hunger,and hot and cold flushes,alos mild flu symptoms and some others! well i was supposed to start my period on the 4th and it never came but then on the 7th i assumed i started-but since then i have had really dark brown discharge-same as u! only once this morning when i wiped there was red but went to loo just now and on the tamp its only brown again??
Do u think there is still hope for me??
