Anyone miss AF, BFN, but Preg? (long :D) - Page 2

Hey. I missed AF by one month last yr. Gyno said my cycle may have been affected by jet lag (Id just come back from overseas) once my AF returned I discovered I had a 42 day cycle. Three cycles later I got my BFP. I tested the day AF was due. Unfortunately I had a M/C. Im now on CD31, if I count day 1 as the day after D&C. I havent had my AF since then (12March). Not sure if that helps.

Thanks for that reply Kalyrra. I did think the luteal phase was the constant part of the cycle- mine has always been 14 days up until this cycle. So given that I know (trusting the clearblue tests to be fairly accurate) that I ovulated on day 19, I feel doubly confused that here I am, day 42, no AF and no BFP!! I spoke to my Dr today and explained that because of my job I really need to know one way or the other, so he sent me for a blood test...results tomorrow so fingers crossed!! And yes MaRaLi, it does seem to become quite all-consuming this trying for a baby, doesn't it?! I am trying so hard for it not to be, but it's impossible! So I think that feeling as you do is very normal xx

And Scorpio23 I have only just seen your post, sorry! I am so very sorry for your terrible loss. I lost my first baby at 12 weeks in December and am still finding it very hard. My first period came 6 weeks after D&C, I think 4-6 weeks is fairly standard after a m/c so you may have a bit longer to wait yet. Sounds like your cycles had been a bit variable so that may be just what's going on with me, but the fact that I know when I ovulated makes that a bit less likely I think. I wish you all the best for having a family in the future. (and is that your dog in the picture? he/she is gorgeous!!) xx

Thanks & sorry to hear of ur loss. Im sorry u had to go through the pain. I decided to start ttc straight after D&C as I know it can take a while for things to go back to normal. Cant wait to try properly next cycle

Yes thats a pic of my border collie @ 8 weeks. Hes almost 3 now.

sorry to hear you got AF, i was similar to you last month, for the past 5 months i have had 28day cycles bang on....last month i was 2 days late, tested and got bfn i was so excited though....until AF arrived.

this month if it were a 28day cycle i would be due today but not at all excited as i think af will arrive on friday as i ov on day 18.

so what i was getting around to say is maybe its possible for our cycles to extend slightly, mine have gone from 28days to 30 over the 6 months ttc.

Well I got my beta -HCG blood test done this week, and it was negative. AF came today (more heavy and painful than usual), so that was a 44 day cycle with AF 26 days after ovulation! Very strange, hope my cycle gets back on track this time around. Feeling gutted all over again about my miscarriage, if everything had gone well I would have been 29 weeks pregnant today

Had a work lunch today & pregnancy came up in our chat.
I was voted next to be PG

Today is CD47. Been having AF like pains but its only watery CM.
I ordered heaps of OPKs & HPTs on eBay. Cant wait til they r delivered..
