New and need some thoughts

Hey everybody! I'm brand new to this site and thought I'd post and see what you guys think as you's probably know more than I do. My partner and I have been TTC for on and off about two and a half years now with no such luck. I have always been quite irregular but I'm very certain that I got ovulation timing right this month. The only thing is, we only did it once this month (pretty sure it was the day of ov) and I'm afraid that it wasn't enough, especially because a lot of his stuff spilled out. But now I'm like 10 dpo and had light pinkish kind of spotting this morning which is weird for me and some small cramps and twinges low in my tummy and I have been getting frequent urges to pee and headaches and insomnia... Could this be good signs? Please help!

Those can definitely be good signs. I have read in books that the removal of excess semen is not always a bad thing, as the sperm are a very fast army of swimmers and what leaks out is just excess fluid. Some women will stay on the bed after intercourse with their pelvis raised or elevated to keep it in. lol. I'm hoping this is your month, baby dust to you!

THANK YOU! I have my fingers crossed tightly as my partner and I have been losing hope. This is the first time however that I've had such strong symptoms and I hope it's our month. I am about 9-10dpo now on the 10th of April and planning to test on the 12th of April, is that too soon you reckon?

I don't know if it's related or not but I've been feeling hotter then most other people and all day I've had bad hiccups.
