Hi everyone! This is my first post. I got off BCP in Jan in hopes of possibly having a 2012 baby. I am a little confused this cycle. I haven't been charting or anything but I am fairly certain I ovulated around Mar 27 or Mar 28.

I took a FRER on Apr 7 BFN (afternoon) and then took another one Apr 9 which was a very faint BFP from FMU. I thought maybe it would look a little stronger today so I took another one today with FMU and it was even a fainter line than yesterday. Probably shouldn't have but then I took a EPT digi that clearly said Not Pregnant. I am wondering why it would be even more faint 24 hrs later? I woke up at least 4-5 times in the evening to pee, so I am wondering if it was just diluted? and what I thought was FMU was not really because I had been getting up so often? I am thinking the first faint BFP I got was probably 12dpo and today is 13dpo but those are estimates. (Cycles have been messed up since stopping BCP, had a 52 day then a 26 day cycle past 2 months)AF due tomorrow... if I go by the 26 day. I have been having lots of cramping, and pinching feelings in uterus area since yesterday. Have also been starving and very thirsty plus fatigued the past few days.

I have looked back at old posts and I guess the explanations I see so far are either I am testing too early and there is still not enough hcg being produced yet? or maybe diluted urine because I went so many times in the evening? worst case scenario chemical? but would that happen so quickly? or just a false positive? The line is very faint but you can definitely see it....

It could be a chemical, or it could just be a case of waiting and testing again in a few days? Maybe wait until you're 18dpo and then test again - saves wasting tons of money on endless crazy-inducing tests.

Had some brown spotting today too, not sure if it is implantation bleeding/cramping or AF coming? I have had intense cramping since yesterday. I am not used to any cramping since I was on the pill for 10 years and barely even had periods. The past 2 months I have been off the pill I haven't really had intense cramping like what I am feeling right now. I wonder if I ovulated later than I think?

I guess I have to wait a few days to see if AF comes....

FMU today and still faint line on FRER although stronger than yesterday. I ended up calling my Ob/GYN office and they had me come in for beta HCG levels but told me not to get upset if the numbers are low since it is still very early. They said they will probably run another one 2-3 days later to see if it is increasing. She said the spotting could be implantation and that typically happens right around the time your menstrual cycle is due.

After I left the office I did an ept Digi again (I know I need to stop taking these tests!!!) and it came back saying "Pregnant" today. (Yesterday it said Not Pregnant..) So I guess that is a good sign! Hopefully the HcG continues to rise and everything goes okay. I am nervous but excited! For the past few days I haven't really thought of myself as being definitely pregnant, I think I do now though, especially with the Digital ept reading!

beta HCG from yesterday was 23, LMP 3/16. The nurse didn't sound too confident about the number. She said it could be that I ovulated later or implantation happened late so she wants another test run tomorrow (48 hrs later) but I won't get results on that until Monday.

Has anyone had low HCG in week 4 that went on to things going ok?

I am nervous but trying to be positive.

I had a chemical. 4 weeks 3 days today and I started heavy bleeding early this morning. I was pretty upset. I spent the weekend with positive thoughts thinking things would be fine but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I was having cramping all weekend, nothing horrible but it was constant moderate cramping. My hcg went from 23 on Wed to 20 on Friday. I have to go in this week for them to make sure it goes all the way down to a negative number. Pretty crushing. I am out now for a while, we won't be able to try again until late this year.
