Anyone using saliva microscopes and clomid??

I was on 50mg of clomid cd3-7 this month. I O'd on CD17 at the latest.
I had full ferning on CD13. I got a + OPK the next day through cd16. During this time the full ferning went away completely and I only had dots. These saliva tests were done in the morning. I am doing the ferning tests still because it was my first month to use it and i want to chart to see how my ferns react so that i am prepared for next cycle.

Lately my mouth has been too dry to obtain a good saliva sample in the morning(as i get tons of air bubbles and only small dots), so i wait until the after noon (of course not eating or drinking for 2 hours). For the last two days I have been getting full ferning, but I think i am only 3dpo.
Is it possible to have a second estrogen surge? Can the clomid be affecting my results?

I am just wondering why I am still showing full ferns, but only in the afternoon?
