Early period or Implantation? I'm confused :(

Hello all,

I am new here. My husband & I have been trying TTC for about a year now. I had this overwhelming feeling this was our month. I had a few of the common signs (Sore breats, emotional, back aches). My period is due 4/13 and Saturday, had some bright red blood....Nothing Sunday and then Monday the bright red blood has returned. Typically my periods are brownish and rarely ever are they red. This is pure red blood! I am so confused....I hear implantation bleedings is rare but I can't help but have some hope.

I had IB with my second son and it was bright red, but just a bit! Only for one day, and then when nothing else happened, I did a test a couple of days later and it was BFP. I wasn't ttc at the time so no idea when in my cycle it was but I can remember thinking at the time that my period wasn't due yet (i'm very regular), so it must have been at least 5-7 days before AF due. Thank you!! I can't help but be discouraged after so many months of trying. I hate to test just because of the BFN's. I'll wait a few days and see what happens.

I know exactly how you feel. Been trying this time for about 20 months and I hate the disappointment every month. I feel like a clock is ticking as im 40 in Oct!! I'm confused a bit with my cycle this month, but probably due same time as you. Hope it's THE month for both of us.
