Ovary Pain

Has anyone had ovary pain that didn't go away? I've had pain for over a week now. I read that O pain should only last 48 hours max, but I'm still sore. I called the OB, but they told me to wait until Monday and call if it's still hurting. Anyone else still have pain in the TWW?

Last cycle I had ovary pain. It was sporadic and twinge-y/stabby and about a 5/10 on the pain scale. It turned out to be a cyst that went away with AF. I could palpate a few bumps from the outside and my abdomen felt bruised to the touch. I hope everything's ok with you. Fingers crosses!

I have some ovary pain during O, but if it lasts too long definitely go with the doctors advice and go in. It could be a cyst on your ovary. Usually they do go away on their own and sometimes women never knew they had them, but in the past I have had a cyst that ruptured and sent me to the ER, so if the pain gets worse or doesn't go away just go in for a check up to make sure you're okay. Hope it ends up subsiding!

I started getting some very sharp quick pain tonight. I'm feeling more pressure now too. If it still feels like this in the morning I will call the doctor to try to get in or maybe go to the ER.

i've had terrible pain from cysts bursting before, it once landed me in the ER and had them prepping me for surgery to remove my appendix! they stopped as they were about to wheel me to the OR, as they realized it wasnt my appendix. i'm sorry you're in pain. i hope you're alright/feeling better soon. do see a doctor if it doesnt improve or gets any worse. good luck with everything.

Amjon I have cysts every now and again, and the pain you describe sounds like what I usualyexperience.
I can always tell when I ovulate, when the pain continues for more than 2 days I know its a cyst. Iv ben to the er before too I hope you feel better and don't have to go through any thing like that. If it presists call your dr after the weekend. They can monitor it with an ultrasound .

I just had a pretty big temperature spike this morning and feeling slightly better now. Could the egg have been stuck and I just ovulated when I had the sharp pain yesterday?
