Clomid - help!

Can any of you lovely ladies help me please? This last cycle I took clomid days 1-5 but got AF today (or start of anyway). I'm sure I read on here somewhere that you should take it days 3-7. The leaflet with it says start any day between 1-5, and GP did't say anything.

I have come across a website at some point recently all about Clomid and when to take, but now I want to look at it, can't find it!!

The most common days to start are CD3 or CD5, but if the leaflet says anywhere between CD1-5 I would believe it. Do you know how many days after your last pill that you O'd? Sometimes starting on a different day will change that length of time (between last pill and ovulation).

Also, some people say the earlier you take it, it's more likely to have multiple eggs, whereas the later you take it, you will have fewer but higher quality eggs.

Hi 9 days after last pill according to fertility friend but I'm not 100% convinced!
