Faint line on opk 7dpo... Does this mean anything?
Hello all, Been ttc for about 2 years now and 34 this year... Really keeping my fx for this month... I ovulated a week ago and had a faint line on opk last night. My lp is usually quite short - 7 days, so I am due tomorrow and I am starting to feel the usual aches that I get before AF - although hoping very much it could be early pregnancy signs! Does anyone know if the faint line could mean ?
a faint line means positive, any line at all means positive. But make sure it's within the time frame! last week I took a test, it was negative, threw it out, when I looked again it was positive- an evap line! AF came in the 19th. But if it came up right away, then congrats!!!!! you should definitely wait til morning and take a 2nd test, if it's another faint line then you're definitely preggers.
there will almost always be some level of line on an opk. when you are looking at using an opk as an hpt, the opk has to be positive- test line as dark or darker than the control. when i got my bfp, i tried an opk at 9dpo and the test line was darker than i'd ever seen one when ovulating. it was the darkest line i've ever seen on an opk. i know this isn't want you want to hear, but i hope the information helps. good luck!
Thanks Bexxc, I did think this might be the case but think it was wishful thinking! also noticed a little bit of brown/pinky EWCM this evening (sorry tmi) so know that is on its way. Oh well, out this month, on to the next one..
