5 days late, few spots of dark brown blood, neg test?! :((
Hi everyone, I'm new. I've been going crazy trying to figure out what's going on. Just recently started TTC, but I've haunted TTC boards on and off for almost a year. My body is doing some crazy things, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and got a BFP?
I was supposed to start my period 5 days ago.... I had my usual pms symptoms which are tender breasts and bloating, but no cramping at all this month. Well, my period never came. On the second day I wiped, and there was some watery really dark brown blood. I thought, ok my period must be coming soon, and popped on a liner. Nothing ever came. The next day when I wiped i noticed the same thing. Still expecting my period to come soon, I put in another liner. It's now been 5 days and no more brown spotting, and no sign of my missed period. To top it off, my breasts have gradually been getting less sore, but definitely are still tender. I also am no longer feeling bloated.
I have never experienced this before!! It's like my body got ready to have a period, then just skipped it. I took a test but it came up negative! Could it be too early? Fingers crossed!
Just went to pee, wiped, and saw a few more drops of very watery dark brown blood. I didn't have it when I peed for my test this morning. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it, but I can barely notice a dull ache in my pelvic area. I only notice it if I sit still and focus on it, so I'm sure my crazy brain is just playing tricks on me.... I'm so anxious! keeping my fingers crossed!
