Looking at Houses Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, bright and early, DH, DD and I will be looking at houses together! I am so excited growing up, my mom was always too poor to buy a house, so we always rented. DH and I have been married for a little over 4 years now, and as some of you may know, he was in the military so we never bothered to look at homes, let alone buy one, and we moved A LOT. I think in the past 4 years we moved at least 6 times, and lord knows I hate moving with a passion. Hopefully this will be our last moving time in a long time. We are hoping to finally be home owners by the end of this summer I have been looking at the houses for sale online for a while now, and I can't wait to see them in person, and as soon as we pay off that expense, we can start saving up for our next investment, baby #2 eek I'm so excited. Sorry, bit of a pointless thread.

Congratulations...it is so very exciting buying your own home. Best of luck looking, find the perfect place and don't rush it. I bought our house and never viewed any others..but I do that. Next time I will make sure its what we want.

That is exciting! I'm just about to move again, I've moved about 12 times, sometimes for work etc and other times because our landlords wanted the house back or something. I'd love to stay in one place! We wanted to rent a nice place and save for a house but we've always had to and i hate packing and sorting out new bills and finding a new GP and waiting for the internet to be installed. We're getting married later this year and then we will be saving for a house, so in probably 5-7 years we'll have one but i can't wait.

Post photos of the places you look at!

the house market out here isn't that great, and the photos placed on the internet can make the houses in question look sooo much better than they are in real life, but just as I was starting to become discouraged, our realtor showed us a house that wasn't on the market yet, and omg, I LOVED it!!! It's like the house of my dreams! Cedar wood finish outside, circled driveway, sun room, basement, spacious, AWESOME layout, 4 bedroom, 3 bath, and the master bedroom bath has a jacuzzi tub 2 acre lot, property taxes were lower than all the others, the yard needs a little TLC, but there are flower beds everywhere, and a manmade stream that leads down to a koi fish pond. I've been begging my DH to put an offer for it, and since our realtor showed it to us first, we get 1st dibs. The only problem that may stand in our way is if the owner wants more than the home loan we were given. If she doesn't take DH's offer, which could be 20,000 less than the asking price, we might not get it!

thanks ladies hopefully our realtor will get back to us soon regarding the house. I've been talking to DH non stop about the house and told him how much I am in love with it and convinced him that it is pretty much perfect for us, it has everything the both of us want. It's out in the country with plenty of wood, and conveniently located so that he will have a great commute to work, ahh I just can't get how perfect it is He agreed to put an offer on it praying that she will accept our offer and that she doesn't want too much for it that it will be over our budget
