Waiting.. again

So, we tried for a few months to conceive, but no pregnancy, so now we've put it on hold until the fall.
We'll start trying again in mid-September.
I'm so tired of waiting, and was so excited to start trying. I foolishly thought I would get pregnant right away.. even though I know that it takes the average woman 6 months to conceive.
So, now I'm back to waiting to try.

I'm sorry waiting is awful but it will be worth it in the end when we do have kids. Best luck to you during your wait

Yup, waiting is awful.
I'm trying to take my mind off it by making goals -- like losing the rest of the weight I wanted to and paying off more debt. And, we'll be going on a trip we've wanted to go on for years in September (which is the whole reason why were WTT again), but I know the trip will be amazing.
I'm just already impatient.. and feel like I've been waiting forever.

If you don't mind my nosey-ness, how long did you ttc before going back on your break?

OH and I want to ttc in November-February, then take a break to avoid a due date during the end of year holidays... I sincerely hope we get pregnant straight away (who doesn't???) but I find myself mentally planning on not being pregnant before next summer, as I am assuming it'll take us a while!! As every other woman on here feels, I really wish we could plan this out!!! I guess it's just preparing us for the unknowns in parenthood?? LOL!

Good luck with your waiting, I fear I'll be quite upset when it's time to take our break, too! Good thing we have this forum or I would go crazy!!

We tried for 2 months.
The sucky thing is that I got pregnant without trying or planning on birth control (miscarried). But, then when I start trying, it doesn't happen. Though, two months isn't that long really. All my research states that it takes the average couple 6 months or so to conceive.
November to February gives you a good five months, so hopefully you will get a positive pregnancy test and no need for a break!!
I'm hoping I get pregnant straightaway in September.. I don't want a late summer due date.. but I'm definitely not going to go on another break.. We'll keep trying till it happens once September hits.

that happened to me also - i think it's the stress that affects our bodies so we don;t conceive straight away. whereas when it's the last thing on our minds we fall straight away!!! typical! stupid women bodies!!! xx
