I had a friend take depo and she was so crazy emotional it really persuaded me not to even attempt to try that. Like we were in high school one day and she just got up and stormed out of class because she felt like everyone was out to get her. Thankfully she switched to something else after the first shot.
im not over emotional just having daily migraine that are so cray i literally cant move my body at all without just being in so much pain and the bad thing is i cant just stop taking it whenever i wont i have to wait and wait its so frustrating when they gave it to me i was going through a rough patch with my now fiancee so i definitely didnt want to end up pregnant by anyone but now that were planning a wedding were planning a baby too. i wish i would have choose a birth control that cant keep up with the changes in my life

I have gotten crazy emotional on it. And everytime I would get the injection I wouldn't eat for four days, because it just killed my appetite

Depo definitely is not for everyone! I was on it for 3 years before my first son was born - but got pregnant 1 month after stopping it! I've now been on it again for 3 years, and will be TTC next year - Around May next year. Will probably go off it february of next year. Good Luck! Never heard of Vitex though.

im so glad to hear that you got pregnant so easily after stopping depo ive heard horrible stories. your story gives me hope since ive only been on depo for 3 months. the vitex is beautiful ive read so many good things about it i feel like i could swear by it. i just came from my local nutrition store and bought a bottle (could wait for the ones i ordered off line lol) but im so excited i suggest that all you guys reading this trying ttc go to google and search vitex reviews and you will understand why i speak so highly of it

Well, you can ovulate without getting your period back first. However, if you do ovulate you will get your period within about 8-14 days (depending on how long your luteal phase is) if you do not become pregnant.

If might be a good idea before getting any birth control next time that you go into the office very prepared and knowledgeable about your options and the side effects. I would also switch doctors if they didn't tell you about the side effects.

I was on depo for a year or so. My last shot was due in February of dis year but i missed it after finally researching all da horrible effects of it. I got my period back in June but it was irregular and it stayed on for about 3 weeks. I recently started taking da pills to regulate my cycles. When i read about vitex i was in shock at the results people got from it so im thinking about quitting da pills and starteing on vitex. What do you ladies think.? I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 25 and we both really want a baby now

Hi LDL I no longer personally would suggest vitex I been on it for two months with nothing and it has a side effect of hair loss and I experienced this a lot and I'm currently growing my hair out. So I didn't enjoy this side effect. But every woman is different. But I have a questions for you if don't mind

Did you take bcp before you got af back or after?how long have you been on them?is it helping with your af?
Since vitex didn't work for me I'm thinking about calling the doc for bcp but my af hasn't returned yet
