Lol yeah kinda over my rant too! God I'm so conflicted, cause I want to start TTC february but I also hate my job and really want a new one. How long do you have to be in a job before you fall pregnant and are eligible for maternity pay?

I think its 6 months that you need to be at your job- but I'm not an expert! There are some threads about it so its worth having a look. Better day today hopefully everyone!! I have a graded presentation today... eek!! x x

Glad I've found some other young people who feel the same as me! Waiting to try towards end of final year in uni and I cant bloody wait to be a mummy! Any tips on how to keep the broodiness at bay until then? Just over one year away xx Em

Also any tips on how to deal with the jealousy of friends who are having children? One of my closest friends gave birth last night and I should be happy but when I found out I just sat and cried. Is this terrible?

ERConnell, what I'm trying to do is plan ahead as much as I can. Broodiness is a scary thing, lol. I feel jealous of all the people I know that have babies... I don't think it's a bad thing... I just know my day will come some day, and I just keep telling myself that... Though it's incredibly hard, lol.
That's just what I do... but maybe if you tell yourself that it will happen and until then, learn what you can, prepare as much as you can.
