Family fertility

Hi all. I'm tcc soon and am kinda worried about my fertility.

There are no problems that I'm aware of and my families fertility is really good. (My aunt caught for 3 of her 4 kids on the pill, my mam caught for me after one day after having a coil for 7 years. My sis came off bc and was 6 weeks pg 2 months later etc...)

I know there's no real reason for me to worry but the irrational part of me still does.

I'm just wondering if anyone else feels like this, or if people have had a baby before, was your fertility anything like your families?

All the time! I know there is absolutely no reason to think we will have problems, but with Mr Boofs being a bit older than me, I do stress. So you aren't alone! x

I think it has only been about a week since i posted a thread like this. Me and my husband set a TTC date and then all of a sudden i panicked thinking "what if now we cant get pregnant?"
The girls on here were very nice and gave me lots of advice.

Like Boofs, my husband is older than me so it is an added worry. I thought it was just me but last night (when my hubby was a bit drunk) he asked what would happen if he couldnt give me a baby. I think men worry about it as well but until we get there we will never know.

I have just tried to think positive as stress can make things more difficult. I have given myself 6 months and then if we havent got caught by then, then i can start to worry again.

I am worried quite a bit. I'll be 24 in Jan. and I've had many health problems this year, the latest is this Wed., they found a Polyp during my annual-I have no children and I've never been pregnant to my knowledge. I have also been on BC, because I suspect a hormonal imbalance. My mom had Sever Endo, so did my aunt both resulting in complete Hysterectomies, grandmother had stage (3 or 4) cervical dysplasia... I know of my half sister dying during child birth due to a previous health condition. I have been devastated this week after my doctors appt, because I have waited for over 2 years for my husband to be ready. I told my husband I just can't take it or wait anymore. I don't know how long my body will be able to endure pregnancy, and I'm scared of what else is going to happen to my body... I'm so depressed, and sad. I feel your pain, I have been afraid of infertility for 2 years (hence why I've been so broody).

I have also had a lot of medical problems which makes me worried about the actual pregnancy.

I have re-occurring infections and was actually sent to an immunologist this year because i'd had 13 courses of antibiotics in 8 months (One for severe pneumonia and a kidney infection! At the same time!). They didn't find a problem, apparently I'm just 'prone' to infections. I now have to keep a course of antibiotics at home with me all the time just in case.

I worry i might get seriously ill during pregnancy and there's not a lot i can do to prevent it.

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH JEN!!!!!!!! I cant believe your on here!!!!!!!!! Welcome sweety, make yourself at home, I see boofs has said hello- she's a gooden!! Well anyway, everyone feels like that sweetie and your every right too. My mum fell for all her children (apart from one planned one) on contraception- it seems she can look at a guy and fall pregnant, my sister fell despite an infection making her more or less 'infertile' and I still cant get pregnnat after 23 months. Everyone is different hun. Best thign to do is take it easy and raise any concerns with a doctor, GOOD LUCK i still cant believe your here- Im coming to see you xxx
