I went off the pill on Oct 15, got my w/d bleed on Oct 19 and then my BFP on Nov 28. I never got my period. I ovulated a month after I went off the pill (Nov 15/16), so it did take a little longer to OV, even though I stopped my pill midpack. Trust me though, you can definitely get pregnant the first cycle! Good luck!

I came off the pill and we NTNP that first month (in part because I was waiting to complete my Green Card application & in part because I preferred having a period and trying on a 'proper' cycle ) then I got my first period and we conceived the first month of really trying.

Good luck!

I had my last pill 4 weeks ago, then my withdrawal bleed. It has been 3 weeks since I stopped my bleed, we are TTC in a couple of weeks.

Went to see my doctor who advised have at least one natural cycle before trying as there is increased risk of miscarriage if you fall without a natural period, just hoping AF turns up on time next week!!!

I finished my Pill at the end of October and didn't start another packet. Had my first 'real' period at the end of November, OH and I are planning to TTC at the end of December. Mind you, if my dates are right then I'll be on AF on New Years Eve which is the day we were gonna TTC. Oh well, any time from January onwards we'll be DBD with enthusiasm!!

Actually, looking at it, I might JUST be finished in time for NYE. Not in my fertile period, but it's still a good day to start

my doctor also told me that starting to TTC immediately is absolutely safe and fine.

i'm not planning to do so, mostly because i just really want to see what my cycles are going to be like after 9 years of artificial hormones, but i would have no concerns about the safety of starting to TTC immediately
