Thrilled for her, bummed for me!

My friend called me because she got a positive pregnancy test. Sore boobs, nausea, and heartburn.
She is taking another pregnancy test later tonight to confirm and then either going to a clinic or going to the ER because she doesn't know how far along she is and she has been drinking. She hasn't had her AF in 2 months. She took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative, so she thought she wasn't pregnant so she did go out drinking last week.

I just wish it was me...I have had miscarriages and I should have children, but I don't. I'm jealous of her, but thrilled for her because she is excited even though it's unplanned.

I just hope things work out for me in March...however it might seem mean, but I really don't want to be pregnant when my friends that are in the area are pregnant....I'm such an attention sponge, but I want all the advice and stuff and really truly enjoy it since I can only have one baby.

I know how you feel, my friend my be pregnant, and if she is, I'm going to be a bit jealous, and then feel guilty for feeling that way.
Good luck, hope everything works out.

I felt exactly the same six months ago, my friend announced her pregnancy and I cried into my OHS arms the whole night.
NOW however, she has a two week old baby boy (born six weeks early with alot of complications) and we went to visit her last night and I can HONESTLY say I couldnt be more happy for her. Suddenly I went from pure jealousy to just being glad that Lucas was home with them for christmas. He is so small!!!
And after seeing my OH hold him last night it suddenly seems that these nine months waiting are going to be so much easier from now because soon we will have one of our own.
As soon as your friends baby s born (if she is pregnant) your feelings will change i promise

Thanks ladies!

She is 3 weeks pregnant, they did bloodwork and a scan, she does go out to the bar, but here it's all non-smoking and she just drinks water (we told all the bartenders since they're friends), not even soda. So I'm proud of her, but I'm just dying because I would love to be pregnant and have a cute bump and buy cute things and have a baby! I just will have to pretend my cat is my baby for now!
It's worse since I have my uterus issues at the moment...I think i need some more bacon!
