Anyone else have sore BBs as the "norm" during 2ww (meaning almost EVERY month)?

I would really prefer to give my boobies away right now. For the last 1-2 years (I think?), my boobs are always sore from around ovulation until day of AF or maybe a day before AF starts. Sometimes, it won't always start right at ovulation but wait a week then start up.

THIS month, they decided to start hurting the day OF ovulation & have not stopped hurting one day since (AF is due anytime between today & Monday. I think I'm on 14dpo right now but could be off a day or 2.). I am SOooo ready for my AF to show up just so that my boobs will stop hurting.

Is there anything at all I can take that will help to prevent this each month? I hope to ask my Dr once I schedule my next pap and can get in but I'm guessing that will be early spring 2011 before my appt as the wait is usually a while.

Open to suggestions, please!

Mine are always sore for the four days before my period starts, so I always know when it's going to be arriving! I only get it for the few days though, not the whole 2ww.

Evening primrose oil is supposed to help with PMT sort of symptoms.... I just take a capsule of it every day.

Mine are driving me crazy right now.. They've been sore the last couple days. While I'm on birth control I don't have this issue, that's always been kinda nice.

Mine were like that for a long time. The doc advised me to take Evening primrose oil, in LARGE quantities during 2ww (6 capsules if I recall, but check with your own doc first). My pain went away when I went on the Pill (Yasmine). I came off that around 9 months ago and have not had any breast pain. Not sure what to make of that.

I think drinking LOTS of water and limiting salt intake is also meant to help.

I hope this helps...

Thank you for the suggestions! I will check into the evening primrose oil. I'm desperate so I'd love to try it if my Dr gives the ok.

Still crazy sore boobs here. AF should be here by tomorrow unless she's pulling a late one over me (ugh! if so!). SO, SO ready for the soreness to give me a break. No fun.

Going on pills (bcp) would be my very last resort. My body doesn't usually deal well with the meds & I think I'd rather deal with sore boobs than the side affects of the bcp.

Thank you again ladies!

Anyone else have a suggestion? If so, suggest away Please!

Sore boobs, cramps, mood swings, and worst of all nausia...every month!
Funny, before I went on the pill I never used to get nausia, but since I came off it I get it every month. It's a nasty trick my body plays on me, I only just realised that it was a symptom of pms >.<

The pain in my boobs varies from day to day leading up to af though: sometimes it's just tingly nipples, other day shooting pains down the sides, and other they hurt all over. There is never any particular order.
Often this lasts into af and goes on through the whole period (like right now: 7 days in and they hurt all over!)

Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions to stop it =(

Oh, wow. Very thankful I do not have nausea on top of it all! That'd be awful. Maybe you should try the primrose oil that was mentioned as well! I'm definitely going to be looking into it.

I'm on cd 34 now (my AFs avg is 31 days but last month was 33 days. Longest AF I've ever had over the last 6yrs or so of keeping track has been 36 days so hopefully, the end is in sight!!!!!!). I feel like wearing a sign for DH that says, "hands off!" until the boobies are back to norm.

AF finally here (yay!). The kicker? Boobs still sore. ARGH. Going to town tomorrow so I'm going to look for the Primrose oil. Does it come in capsules/pill form?

I've had the pain both on and off the pill. and its never consistent. I know we're wtt but we're ready for an oops if it were to happen.... so I think this is the only place I can say that I get hopeful when I get the pain... And sometimes I'm very down when AF arrives.

Baby cravings are stronger than chocolate cravings I've found out!
