Well I belong here now...

Hi Everyone,

Well I am back here now..

I was in here last year for all of 2 days I think... But this time I will be here for a lot longer..more like 3-4 years....

I just got a place to study midwifery at university next September so I want to get that out the way first.

I am 24, engaged to my lovely fiance Matthew and we have our beautiful little girl Abigail together.

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Big love & Hugs.

Hello!

Wow I am so jealous you are starting your midwifery degree. I was meant to start mine last March but I fell pregnant, now my OH and I have decided he can concentrate on his career at the moment, we'll start trying for #2 when Isla is 1 in August, and then when the two children are in school I will re-apply and hopefully do it then.

I love my little girl but I have always wanted to be a midwife so feel a bit gutted!

Welcome and good luck!!

Hun I have been toying with the idea of putting my midwifery career on hold whilst I try for another one. Im not overly ecstatic over the 5-6 year age gap Abigail will have with her sibling. But one thing I will say, Midwifery is not going anywhere hun. Least you can say you had the comfort of being home with your babies while they are young. xxx

I know that's what I thought, I did defer my place a year so that I would be starting March 2011. But I enjoy Isla sooo much that I couldn't face leaving her in full time care at 7months old. And I know everyone is different and what's right for one person is not necessarily right for the other, but I phoned the Uni and cancelled my place recently.

I bet you will enjoy it so much though! It will be brilliant. There is 7 years between me and my one sister and 9 years between me and my other sister and we are all really close so I don't think a big age gap is a bad thing! Plus when you do get pregnant you'll know everything! lol xxx
