It's finally officially and we've actually agreed!

Well as the title says really, we have now officially set a month for ttc number 2!

At first it was going to be this month but that was mostly down to hubby wanting to try. My c section was only 5 and a half months ago and I never felt totally comfortable with the thought of getting pregnant so soon after it. Plus, as broody as I've been since Summer arrived I know in my heart it's best to wait and give her more of our undivided attention for a while longer yet. AND we're going to Australia with my family to visit family in October 2011 and I want to be no more than a possible 5 months pregnant at that time.

Sooooo, we've set May as the month when we'll ntnp!!!!

Anyone else trying then?

Looking for some potential future bump buddies!

Xxx

Congratulations! That's really exciting. I wont be TTC until August but just wanted to say YAY for you! lol

I know how you feel with regards to being broody since LO came along, but know waiting is for the best. I really can't wait to give Isla a little brother or sister though! xx

Aw, thank you!

I know, it would have been so easy to just go along with oh and start trying right away but I know it's better this way. It's taken me a while to convince him that this is the best and most sensible thing to do so I was so pleased when he finally agreed that he could see my reasoning behind waiting!

But having that date set and something to look forward to is enough for me!

Yay!

And good luck for when august comes along, we could still end up being bump buddies anyway! May and august are so close!

Xxx

Yes they do need a bit of gentle persuasion to see that us women are always right! lol!

It is exciting to count down, and it will fly by, now with Christmas and New Year then it will be Easter and Wallaaa!! Baby making here we go!

Bump buddies would be brilliant! Fingers and toes crossed it all goes to plan. Did you intentionally conceive Summer and if so how long did it take you? xxx

Islas mummy, yes we were trying for Summer. Although when I say trying we didn't really do a whole lot different. I came off my pill at the end of July 2009 and was pregnant by the end of September (I got my bfp on 28th October and was 7 weeks pregnant by then).
We were so shocked it had happened so fast, I'd been on the pill for 12 years and being 27 I just thought it'd take longer. The only things we did differently were to dtd every other night and I stayed in bed for 15 minutes or so afterwards. My cycles have always been pretty unpredictable so we figured that by dtd every other day eventually we'd get there! Since having Summer they've regulated actually, although still long (every 42 days).

How about you with Isla? I think I've read a post of yours about you having pcos?

Oh and by the way I love the name Isla, that was my husbands favourite name and going to be our choice but then our friends named their little girl that!

Xxx
