Welcome!
Just wondering if you've been to the doctor about your lack of cycle and if so what they said?

Hiya, and welcome!

I haven't heard of vitex so can't offer any advice on that, but my friend doesn't ever have a period so when she and her husband decided they wanted to ttc she went to the doctor and ended up being given some medication to take. I'm not sure of the name of it but it brought onher periods and enabled her to conceive naturally.

Have you tried visiting your doctor? There might be a really simple answer as to why they've stopped. As someone else suggested could it be your weight? Or my cousin had cysts on her ovaries and her periods stopped for a while but they were easy to treat.

Good luck!

X

Doctors

Hi there thank you for all your replys, i have been to the dotor and last year they diagnosed me with pcos, and put me on to metformin tabelts which is meant to help bring on a cycle,My gynacolegist adv that i was slightly over weight and that if i put on a stone in the next year then my chances woukd drop dramatically, The doctors have never told me that there is any cysts on my ovaries tho... im just so confused nd getting broody by the day.. xxxx

Hi rosie, I'm basically is a similar position to you - I'm 23 and been with my OH for nearly 5 years. We bought a house 18 months ago and are thinking about TTC soon. I have very irregular cycles caused by a hormone imbalance similar to that in PCOS.

I would strongly recommend charting for a bit - it shows you what is happening with your body and gives you an idea of your cycle. I have found out my usual cycle length is around 63 days. It also shows you possible fertile days if you follow your CM as well.

It can be annoying setting your alarm for the same time every day just to take your temps but I've found it very helpful
