I know how you feel about the pill.
They were sending me round the bend. I was moody and crazy and they just didn't agree with me full stop. So seen as my other half doesn't like condoms and to be honest neither do I, I got the copper coil. The one without the hormones as it was that in the first place that was sneidng me crazy.

Do you not wont any other kids after number 2? because instead of getting your tubes tied and having the choice taken away from you why dont you get the coil that last's up to 5 or 10 years?

Congratulations! I was thrilled to come off the pill too, I stopped in April and we are planning on TTC in September 2011. Although the hormones didn't actually seem to bother me, I just didn't like the thought of artificially controlling my cycles; I want to let my body settle into it's own natural routine. We are using condoms now too, but even after we have TTC'd I don't think I would go back onto the pill.

your welcome.
The one I have is called the Copper IUD but as far as I know there is more than one non-hormonal IUDs. Talk to your doctor about it because if it was me and i was in your shoes I would get it so the choice was always there because having your tubes tide is the end of the line and personally even though I don't know how old you are I think your way to young to be thinking about that haha.
Getting the coil is more embarrassing than child birth to me but you might be different. If you can get past the embarrassment and the cramps you sometimes get and the little bit of bleeding you have after it than get it

I have been in the pill for 11 years..the only time I went off them was 3 months before I got pregnant and while I was pregnant..then 6 weeks after baby I was back on them..so my poor body hasn't had a REAL break. I am really looking forward to being "normal" for once. Maybe I will be less moody when I am off them
What do you all think? Did it help with you moods? Oh..and did it help with your "moods"? You know..they horney moods? I swear since being on the pill it has been a down hill slope for me in the horney field. I am hoping by coming off the pill it will help me gain my libido back some

I, too, have just come off the pill!! Although mine was alot less planned See, I am horrible at remembering the blasted things, and I missed 3 days in a row & my pills say to throw them out & start new, but since my DH and I have decided we are TTC in September, I decided to say "the hell with it!"

I was always good at remembering, but I take several vitamins a day and meds for my heart..so adding another pill to the mix wasnt a big deal

Yeah, I haven't ever been good at remembering things I need too

Although I am going to get on vitamins soon, so I will have to train myself to take them daily. BUT, the vitamins mean baby SOON, bc pills, NOT so much, maybe that will make taking them a lot easier
