Newly WTT

Hello Everyone!

I'm recently married and really want to TTC.

At the moment we had to move back into my parents, which isn't ideal! We are looking at houses at the moment. I really want to come off the pill and start trying, as i know things won't happen over night.

But husband doesn't want to.

He said he wants to wait until we are in our own house, which is all well and a good and i do kind of agree, however the feeling of wanting to try is too strong.

It doesn't help, someone i work with is planning to try in a few months so at the moment all i hear is babies!! I haven't told anyone how much i want a baby and that i want to try. I just had all these feelings and emotions running through me at the moment.
When i talk to my husband all i get is "i do want to try, just not yet!" and "i know how much your hurting"

Today, everywhere i looked seemed to be pregnant women!! I just wanted to scream!

Sorry maybe a little too much for my first post, but as soon as i started typing i just couldn't stop!

Thanks for reading

T xx

Hello hun!!

I completely no what you mean and am in quite a similar postion to you!

We recently got married in may and since then out of the blue the baby bug hits me!!

I would quite like to start TTC in june 2011 after i have been a bridesmaid, and think hubby wants too aswell, the thing that holds us back is that we are in a one bed flat in negative equity! So not ideal at all!!

Its a battle between heart and head! and its awful!! So i completly sympathise with you!!xx

I know EXACTLY what you mean. DH did not understand... I have been WTT for over 2 years, but he's coming around! I'm so happy! Feeling SOO conflicted, selfish, mad, hurt plus 20 other feleings all in one takes it's toll. I was SUPER depressed and overly broody until he came around, and I couldn't feel any better now we have set a date.

welcome to wtt i think once the bug hits, then it's very hard to try to suppress i found that with our first, but it seems for us, much easier waiting for our second.
hope you can find your dream home soon xx

I have the exact same thing, and nothing hurts more. He talks as though he definitely does want Children, just not yet, that famous phrase 'JUST NOT YET'! I really don't feel I can approach him about it much any more, he knows how I feel (or i'm hoping he does by now..), but just shows know sign of budging, so 'waiting to try'!

Welcome to WTT - heres hoping it won't be too long. IT is extremely hard waiting, but sure it'll be worth it in the end! :-) x
