It's been a while but...

Im back... Having a big ol wave of broodiness at the moment and just want some of you lovely ladies to get me through it lol.

OH wants to wait til i've finished uni and have had a job for a while, and wants us to save for our own home first... Bearing in mind we have saved 0 and will probably need around 20,000.... I got a long wait. It just scares me a bit as he's older than me (I'm 21 in march and he's just turned 30) what if after we've got all the above things, and then he feels to old?

It's the exact same for us actually, and it's very difficult. OH wants us to wait until we own our own home (at the rate we're saving it will be a while to say the least..). He wants to be in a better job, but refuses to even consider looking for one and things we're not in the right 'situation' at the moment.

I feel the majority of these can be over come, but the more I try to talk to him about it the more he just shuts down. I really did feel rather alone in the matter but am glad to see there;s others feeling the same way.

My fella just shuts down too... Altho it made a nice change yesterday when i was joking about a baby and he started talkin to the cat saying "will you love the baby Smudge" lol... Funny man haha... But to even mention the 'B' word is definite progress!

Really great to hear that as it's the EXACT same for me! I always just thought it was just him and I had to get on with it! The baby word never gets mentioned, at all, and then on the VERY odd occasion he does mention it i take a double look, then probably read too much into it!
