aargh work rant

Hello all.
Kind of upset and annoyed. I want to start trying in 8 months. Have not told my manager at work. Found out today that they have changed my day job because they can't find a replacement. No one else in the team will have the same technical knowledge to do my job. Shall I hint that I want to start trying so that they will train others to do my role whilst I'm away?

Honestly I can't wait till I go next year on maternity leave. Fed up of working with rude colleague

I wouldn't hit at it until you're expecting They can worry about it then to get some on trained on your job. Or atleast that would be my plan.

You don't want to jeopardise your job so I would wait until your pregnant, it is their problem that no one is trained not yours! just my opinion!

Hello All

Thanks for your advise. Yeah I'm just going to keep quiet and let them deal with it next year.

I would defo keep quiet! If you tell them after your 12 week scan - they're still gonna have 5/6 months to find a replacement and get them trained up!

Not your problem, it's up to them to get someone trained. I am certainly not telling my boss as she is a complete cow and would probably try and get rid of me so that she wouldn't have to abibe by maternity rights!

Think of yourself - not the company!

Hi there ,

Yes it is! Thank you. I found out last week. Last December I had to stop taking the pill because it was making me feel down and depressed. I assumed that you can't get preg untill you have your first true period. I was wrong!
