I too have a dermoid cyst thats going to need surgery. I see the gynaecologist in two weeks so im hoping I can get key hole surgery so I can get back to ttc soon.
Welcome! I'm glad you get to see your genaegologist soon! I'm trying to get my apointment bumped up, right now I'm not scheduled to see the gynae until March 9th - with the pain I've been having I don't want to wait that long. Plus I'd like to get to TTC sooner rather than later.
For now I'm still optimistic I'll make my June 1st goal... *fingers crossed*

Was getting seriously anxious..went and had a chat to my GP ..he said not to worry..wait and see what they say.

All depends on where it is as to how invasive the surgery will be... Going to take folic acid etc for now and see what the Endo says in April. He says not to worry about infertility.... that some people are more fertile afterwards - as their prolactin returns to normal and ovulation becomes regular. So confused.. and dosent seem like the Endo had my actual scans to have a look herself - just a report from someone who had seen the scans!

Sorry for the ramble guys... just all a bit baffling.. dont want to seem worried or anything to OH. He just lost his dad..last thing he needs is me having a teary!!

Thanks for listening guys

I know how you feel, I don't want to be a "debby downer" to my DH all the time, sometimes you need another outlet to share your feelings with.

Hopefully the surgery won't have to be too invasive. *fingers crossed*

Sending you lots of hun keep your head high babe I've got my fingers crossed for you I hope it all goes ok for you. The Dr was kinder stunned yesterday at my OHs results as they show he's started producing a little bit of his own hormones and he said this is very rare. Im pleased my OHs is doing so well now with all that he's been through just feeling a little down that we have to put baby plans on hold for an extra 6months but my OHs health is more important then 6months!!

And those 6 months will probably fly by besty!

I got some good news the other day, my appointment with the gynecologist got bumped up to Feb 4th. yay! She'll consult with me and maybe run another ultrasound of the cyst? I'm pumped to get in a whole month earlier than expected.
