Hi odd socks

Well personally when i was at uni i use to really look up to the people who managed to study plus have kids going about! would you be doing your degree at home? if so then you probably would manage, even in the evenings if its a struggle.

I would love to do another degree...i already have my nursing but would love to do teaching but its 18months and really intense so i just cant wait that long!!!!!

Children are forever, so no matter when you do your degree - you're always going to have a child or children around. I have a friend who is doing her nursing degree with 2 children, and another on the way. She is managing! In fact she is doing really really well! If you want it enough - you will find a way to manage!

What do you want to study?

Good luck xx

i know it sounds daft but it might focus you more as you have to do the work in a set time like when lo is at playschool or napping or in bed for the night. Ive found that ive been much more organised at home since i went back to work because i have to do stuff in a set time frame.

When i was at uni i always found myself putting stuff off till the last minute and then have to cram i dont think this would happen if you were pregnant or had kids as your work/learning time would have to be more structured.

Thanks for ur replies the course is photography degree, although im already a photographer i would love to do it purely to better myself and prove ive done it (if that makes sense?) It would be home learning course yeah, so i could work it around anything else i.e pregnancy/ LO. I was thinking of doing beauty therapy but i believe that is purely a college thing so i would have to look into that more
