Newbie here! **waves**

Hiya,

Me & my partner are WTT, and i stumbled across this website and love it!

I'm 26 and my partner is 29 and this is our first bambino!!!

Took me about 2 years of casual broodyness talking, but only since last saturday that he said "yes - lets try!" it was the best day of my life!!!

We did SWI twice on that day (as i was ovulating) and once the day after, but decided to wait until end of April to TTC as we are moving house end of March so thought it would be best to wait until we're settled in!!

So hello to everyone!!! xxxx

oh & I'v started taking folic acid, I'v quit smoking 3 weeks ago anyway and cutting down on drinking now :-)

Never new about my ovulation cycles or anything before and now im researching into it isnt it funny how you try so hard for years to NOT get pregnant - then when you do - you dont realise how difficult it actually is!!!

Haha! I couldn't agree more! I joined this forum today and I'm in a VERY similar situation to you! During Christmas me and my partner decided to start trying, so I came off the pill first weekend of January, Ive started taking folic acid tablets, cutting down on the wine! It's so exciting isnt it?! I have absolutely no idea when my fertile times are or how to chart and monitor my cycle, so we're in the same boat! Good luck to you though, wish you all the best xxx

Good luck to you too!!!

Yes it's very exciting - no one can wipe the smile off my face at the moment!!!

I worked out my ovluation days for when we are going to TTC and the first two ovulations would give me a due date of Xmas day or my birthday - even more exciting!!!

I spend hours at work daydreaming about it!!! and we're both so happy it's like we're falling in love all over again

xxx

Welcome to B&B! Nice to see some new faces!

I was always taught that getting pregnant was SOO easy and you could get pregnant with the smallest accident, but boy how the education I had was wrong! It's not until i started looking into charting my cycles and all of the ins and outs of TTC that I realized just how dam hard it actually will be! Just to put that across to my OH..

Congratulations on the new house! Seriously stressful time so don't blame you for waiting till afterwards! Not long to wait now though!
