Will it ever be possible for me to try?

Hi folks, 38 year old female here. For some reason children were never a priority to us and all of a sudden it's all I want.
The problems; I'm overweight, have a low thyroid, my prolactic is too high and I haven't had a period since last april. I just got meds for this. I also have OCD and am just coming off my meds because we told our doctor we wanted to become pregnant. I'm really anxious that I have so many problems that it will never happen. Has anybody any advice for me?

It can happen if you want it to. I have depression, low thyroid, am obese and have PCOS and tend to only have one period every two years... but am pregnant with my 2nd child at the moment. Just go for it, it might be hard but it'll be worth it!

As you know from my post we have a lot in common health wise. I feel the same way as you a lot of times. I was putting off TTC for years because I was always going to lose weight, get in shape, etc etc. Now I just decided to heck with it and I am going for it! Of course my new RE told me all about the benefits of losing weight and so on, nothing I haven't heard before. I'm finally trying to get it off, but I am doing so while actively TTC. As for the anxiety meds I weaned off those too and it's a bit rough some days, but I'm hanging in there lol. Good luck! I agree, go for it!
