me and my OH havent told anyone, we are quite worried about people judging us for being quite young and having a moan about it. but ive always thought that as long as i can support my own children then they have no right to moan...but friends n family always think they know best!!
i know my mum will be happy when i am pregnant and i know that along with my OH she will be my biggest support but something inside me worries that ill disappoint her if i tell her im WTC/TTC (i dont know why i feel like that though :S )

i think ill keep it all a secret until im a few months gone xx

I'VE TOLD EVERYONE!

Seriously, I've told all my friends, my family and people at work. But I'm in a different situation where I am all alone in this and I figure I need all the support I can get so I'm not worried at all about people knowing. If they ask questions great. If not, great.

I've even created a separate facebook page so my family and friends can get all the latest updates on me (most are far away) and go through this whole journey with me. They're all rooting with me and counting down the days until May 9 when I go see the specialist for the first time.

Yes, there's the risk of BFN's, MC's and heartache through this, but I want my family and friends to be there with me the whole way. I need them there with me the whole way. I will probably only have the money to try this about 5 times or so, and if it doesn't work, I'd rather they all know as we go rather than ask random uncomfortable questions.

Plus it's brought us all closer together.

The only people who say anything negative about my choice are people who kind of know me, but not really on a deep level. Anyone who really knows me, knows my lifelong desire to have children and they know how independent and strong I am. Those people are my cheerleaders and they are definitely in the majority!

The only place I can get Therapeutic Donor Insemination Therapy is at the Fertility Specialist. (will be doing IUI with donor sperm) Believe me, I was hoping to do it cheaper at just a regular OB, but my doctor told me there are none in the city who do that - I have to go to the clinic.

Good news is, my province just passed a tax credit for IF but you're only eligible if you go to an accredited fertility clinic so it looks like once again, everything happens for a reason!

It's pretty obvious to most of our friends/family that we are WTT, probably won't tell them when we are actually TTC either though...might just need to keep talking about it on here so I don't let it slip, would ideally like to just tell everyone when we get a BFP...
