Hoping April is the month!

DH and I move into our new home at the end of March, and I'm going to start working on him now to start trying when we move into the house. He looks forward to babies and family almost as much as I do, he's just painfully rational and logical and can't follow his gut on anything, so I just have to work on it a bit.

I've been off BC for almost 2 years, and we've been using condoms exclusively since (other than 2x where I took the morning after pill, once was a broken condom and the other was a VERY drunk night when we forgot). I've considered "losing" our condoms during the move and "forgetting" to buy more, but I do want him to be fully on board

I'm just so excited that we're getting SO CLOSE!

Good luck with everything. I hope your dh will be right on board with you, I'm sure he will be, you've still got time to work on him, lol!

Congrats on setting a date and good luck with the move!

Well, we chatted. I told him "You don't start trying for a baby when you want a baby TOMORROW, you have at least a bit of trying, then 9 months of growing it before a baby actually arrives." He hadn't thought about it that way before. He wants to make sure that we'll be able to afford a baby as well as the house etc. etc. But he's also crazy about budgeting, so that doesn't surprise me.

We're on the right track, and he'll warm up to the idea in time

Ooh! I forgot to add! I also mentioned the idea of NPNT, and I'd even give him a breakdown of when I *should* be ovulating (I have an incredibly regular cycle) so he'd know I wasn't tricking him into something, and he didn't freak out over the idea! I'll mention it again in a few days and we'll see where it goes.
