I'm hoping 6 weeks, but 10 is probably more realistic. We'll see if I'm joining the club!

HI.
I have just had ectopic and tube removed, i have been told to wait 3 mths. Ectopic websites say 2cycles after bleed from op so i reckon 10wks or so. May 1st is my 1st wedding anniversary so im hoping a miracle happens! sadly have to wait another 3mths to restart clomid not sure why have to wait.
Cant wait to start again, 10wks seems like forever!!

Yes I will be waiting 3 months before TTC again. I mc in December and am now waiting to mc...well, actually waiting for 2nd set of bloods to confirm I will be mc, and then waiting for mc if that makes sense!

In any case I will not be TTC until at last 3 AF to get my system back on track and everything properly cleared and healed. I have a 4 year old son, who now thinks 'Bunny' is in God waiting room trying to find the right time to join our family.

Is anyone doing anything nice in the months in between to distract themselves from the whole baby business/to get over their loss?

My studies have begun again...could have thought of better distractions myself

Hi Lumboo, so sorry for your loss, you've had such a hard time lately.

i wish i did have a distraction. atm im obsessing about when i can TTC. The doc said 3mths... hubby is very keen to stick to this... i dont care i just want to be pregnant again.
Work is the worst place to be... babies all day everyday! I cant get away from it! DH has no idea what it is like to be me! i think about it all month first when to O. then the 2ww then AF hell when it comes. its a constant emotional rollercoster. I cant wait to be pregnant and on Mat leave so i can have some peace and happiness!

Thanks Blaire - the thing about stuff like this is that is makes you grateful for all the things you do have.

I have a haircut/lowlights booked for this Saturday, next week is our 16th anniversary (of when we started going out which we celebrate instead of our wedding anniversary) and my sister and I are doing a pamper day next Saturday (which was a Christmas present she booked to cheer me up from the original mc)

Maz1510, you are quite welcome to do my Performance Management and Taxation lectures if you want a distraction?....

I am thinking of having accupuncture over the next few months too, to strengthen my uterus and prepare me for a baby. I had some after a kidney stone and it worked fantasically in my recovery. Anyone else trying anything like that?
