haha yep, I kept checking when I went to the loo when I was getting close to D Day. Examining what was on the loo roll and wondering if what was there would be considered "plug" like as you have no idea really until you see it.

this may seem gross to people who havent had a baby or TTC'd (as i know I would find this talk yukky before having my bub) but believe me...you are all about to be experts on all things that come out of your foo foo!

I remember in 3rd tri people posting photos of their plug just to check that thats what it was!!!

Well at least now I know what it is. I've still got so many questions though. I would like to sit down with loads of women who've been pregnant and ask them all about their experiences. That's kinda like what you get to do here.

I would have been lost without BnB while i was TTC, you can find out so much stuff

yeah the girls have got it, sorry if tmi but mine was like really slimey snot and I lost mine over approx 3 hours before I went into labour. Just so you know it is also known as a show.

When I phoned the midwife in labour she asked if I had lost my plug, and she said 'It's like snotty stuff' .. So snot seems to be the best description, even by midwives standards

I lost mine after I started having contractions, so it definitely varies!

My plug went at about 20weeks pregnant with my first child it is called mucus it can be a greeny snot like or it can be blood.
Its quite horrible lol. But not everyone gets it.
