My brothers are 5 years and 11 years yonger than me. I have good relationship with both but it could be better. I think that the reason I moved 700km away when I was 16 has something to do with it, but we get along realy good just not dayly contact.

My Oh gets along with his siblings. His brother is nearly 2 years older and they played together when they were young. They are ok friends now but he is in mutch more relationship with his sister who is 8 years older. They have more incommon.

We want a short age gap. My Lo is 19,5 months old and just started sleeping all the night in september. Most of the time he sleeps al the night but somethimes he wakes up but it is most of the time not hard to get him back to sleep. He can be a handful, litle devil hehe teasing his mum and dad is very fun. He is wonderful! But I am just reasently ready to have another because I was in so mutch lack of sleep and I started working in july and work somethimes 200 hours a month!
But we are goint to start trying in april so he will be about 2,5 years old if we are lucky to get pg in first try

I am with you about the finishing the baby stuff I want short age gap so they might be friends and have someone to play with while growing up. Also I want to be this young, dont want to have them well over 30 (just my personal impinion not against it) and just geting to a point where they are old enaugh to stay at home for an hour while we have a walk and so I can do more kid stuff with them and not just the baby stuff even though i love it

Im just so looking forward to their questions about life, the silly things they say

Thanks girls

Sounds like no matter what the age difference, it will be a challenge with more than one child, especially if the 2nd has the same habits as my DS lol, he despises sleeping! I am a stay at home mom and DH is a doctor so he works very long days, so when #2 does come along I think I'll have my mom stay with us for a bit to help with the transition so I don't go completely mad lol.

Thanks for all of the advice and opinions!

I was aiming for two years... but got unbelievably broody from the time he was about 7 months, when my cycle started again at 9 months old, I took it as a sign that the time was right! We now know we're expecting a boy and couldn't be happier to have two brothers so close in age, what fun and mischief they will have! There will be 21 months between them

My cycle just returned as well and my DS is 7 months, perhaps you're right, it's a sign! I'm definitely quite broody this month so I'm sure I won't be able to hold off much longer

lol, I totally agree, I got married when I was 25 weeks along and was still in that "cute" stage of pregnancy so even if you do fall pregnant, I'm sure you'll look brilliant!

I feel the same as you hun. My DH would have another baby tomorrow if i would let him and asks most days. Nearly every day I woonder about what age gap we should have and what time of year would be best for maternity leave and going bk to work after etc. At the mo our play is to TTC from a year in April so there will be a 3 year age gap between LO's

We will wait until baby 1 is at least 3 and eligible to free 15 hours education because there's no way we could afford 2 in childcare!!xx

I think we'll keep to our plan and wait until DS is 1, seems like a good idea, it's just hard not to change plans when that fertile time of the month comes along, so tempting lol.

Gosh yes, childcare is so costly, luckily I stay home with my DS and will continue to stay home until we're done having kids and they're all in school :-)
