There is a 15 month gap between my two sons. I couldn't imagine it any other way, and they adore each other. A second baby will always be a little more work no matter the age gap, and I feel good knowing that my sons will be so close. There was 18 months between me and my sister, and 18 months between her and my brother. We all got along splendidly, and still do. Then, there is 14 years between me and my twin brother and sister, and we are still close. Really all depends on the parents' preference. It all works out in the end!

Thank you so very much for your feedback, it's nice to hear about a positive experience from a mom with kids less than 2yrs apart :-)

We originally wanted to start TTC #2 when our DS is one (he's 7 months now), but I'm growing impatient lol, I just think giving him a sibling as close in age as possible is such a beautiful gift, I know it might be difficult that first year or two, but in the long run, he'll have a best friend for life and that's all that matters to me

baby_hopes my nieces are a yr apart. the oldest just turned 6 and the youngest will be 5 in july they have been a handful for years. Im not trying to get ya upset or anything. Just i see what my sister goes through with them and I now think that it's better for there to be at least 3 to 4 yr age gap as me and my sis are 3 to 4 yrs apart I just think in my opinion that it's better to have that much of an age gap cause then you have more time to bond with each one and not have to give up time with the oldest for the youngest one.

Thanks so much for the feedback, I appreciate everybody's opinion or experiences, it definitely helps me weigh my options I think 3 or 4 years is great as well, there are 3 years between my older sister and I and we are now super close, although growing up I had a step-sister who was 2 years younger than me and we were absolutely inseparable lol...I think what I'm learning is that there are going to be pros and cons to any and every age gap, no matter what, but I do truly love to hear from all you ladies who have experience or know someone who has experience having more than one child.

Thnx again!!
