Natural Health or Medicated Pregnancy

I'm curious. Since we decided to improve our health naturally and had great results, I want to know how do other people feel.

You want to improve your health, using only safe and natural ways - nutrition and exercise.
You want to improve your health, but with the help of drugs/medicine.
You are not interested in improving your health, you're happy as you are right now.

Please tell me what you think.

Added Later After Some Questions:
Sorry for the confusion, let me try and give some clarity on what I mean.

Whenever you are before a health decision, either to improve your general health or to recover from an illness, of which solution do you think first - Talking to a GP or looking for natural ways to get what you want?

hi i voted, but im not really aware of any drugs or medicines to improve my health?! maybe im being simple, but i though the only way is to excercize and eat healthy, and take multi vits etc.
i guess theres fat pills (pills that stop you absorbing fat), but i thought they where only perscribed in special circumstances.

Natural for me other than folic acid supplements. Also I was prescribed iron supplements during my last pregnancy so obviously if I was low in iron again then I'd take those too but other than that then it'll just be healthy diet and gentle exercise for me!

I would like to go all natural but have certain health problems like BP etc that I have to medicate for. I'm trying at the moment to come off certain meds like antidepressants which I know would be dangerous for the health of an unborn. I'm also trying to eat healthier and get more exercise though.

Im on many medications for health reasons and im not ashamed to say it or to say i will keep taking them, i only would stop if there was a risk when i TTC/Get pregnant.. I had to have a long discussion with my GP and hospital about my meds and they told me i shouldnt have a problem to keep taking them so i carried on and i had a healthy 8lb 6.5oz baby boy who was overdue! and my mum also was on one of the same ones i take now and she took them with me and my sister and were both fine

But atm im not trying to improve myself im not perfect but i don't feel the need to it could change if i got pregnant though

I put natural cos I'm just trying to eat a little better and be a bit more active. I doubt I'll lose much weight, but I'm guessing not eating chocolate and crisps every day is a pretty big change!

I haven't answered yet. I'm not sure what you mean by "natural" vs "drugs and medicine" to get healthier.
Do you count Vitamins as medicine? because they aren't really, they are just a way to assist in the nutrition and getting nutrients that our food and diets lack. I would consider that a natural way to get healthy.

As for medication and drugs, I would assume if you're using them that you need them to be "healthy"; it might not really be a choice.

Personally right now I need to get surgery to improve my health before I can get ready to TTC.
I'm currently taking multivitamins and after surgery will take some prenatal vitamins and more folic acid. Does that mean I should click Natural? I'm confused. sorry.

All natural as far as possible. However if I was advised by my GP then I'd go with them.

Im taking lots of things to improve my fertility and trying different things like refelxology too. so i guess im natural that way, but i do have faith in medicine too.

I always try to try the natural approaches first before considering medical drugs/surgery, with the exception of my MC where i chose surgical management over natural for several reasons.

Im not against medical stuff though.

I'm a bit confused by this thread. Do you mean during pregnancy, or just in general? I exercise every day and eat healthy. I absolutely do not ever take medicine. Of any kind. I've never given any to my daughter either. I use only natural remedies like a teething necklace for teething, etc. But if I need medicine during pregnancy for high BP or whatever the case may be, than I'll take it. I had to have a c-section with Emma because I had super high blood pressure and after a long strenuous labor her heartrate kept dropping. So obviously I will do anything it takes to get my baby out safely. I may even have a scheduled c-section next time.
