Ovulation tests

Hi
Me and my parter are going to try for a little one of our own, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good ovulation kit, I have had a look in the pharmacies and supermarkets and they range from 18 - 100, I don't really want to go and spend 100 if it doesn't really work and the 18 ones are just aas good. I would just like one that can tell me the day I ovulate. Any suggestions please?

DH got me a mix of ovulation and pregnancy tests when we was TTC DS, I have no idea why since I told him I did not need the ovulation ones as we got pregnant 3 times (2 MMC's and with DS) in the 1st month just by doing it every 1-2 days. But I still use this brand of pregnancy test and I gave the ovulation ones to a friend. Some people will probably say they are rubbish but they always worked for me and are cheap too....

Another good way of doing it is for the first month buy the Digital OPKs and find out when you ovulate and from that buy the cheaper ones with the lines. I struggled with these as never really got a line darker than the test line.

Or when you have bought a digital one ie the Clearblue ones go on ebay and buy the box of 20 sticks for approx 12 pounds supposed for the cb fertility monitor and use those sticks in the test holder from the digital holder you get in the weekly pack.
