Well I've read that you should avoid drinks that have caffeine, chocolate and sushi and other types of fish and cheese like philadelphia and other sorts of cheeese. I love sushi. I will miss that too but most of all my coffee and ciggies.

Obviously avoid alcohol and cigarettes and you need to cut down on coffee but you can still have it but the recommendation is not to go over 4 cups of (instant) coffee a day (less if fresh) while TTC/pregnant/BF'ing so I go with 1 half-caf a day personally while TTC/pregnant and 1-2 cups while BF's. Once again a bar of chocolate will be fine from time to time, just do not over do it, like I said I was told to try eating dark to help to the iron count. Some types of fish are out but I am a vegetarian so can not remember what sorts. Soft cheese is also out but not the soft spreadable stuff. Raw eggs is a no-no which seems easy but it is in things like home-made mayo and some deserts.

A good diet is a good starting point with folic acid or a pre-natal pill. Also add to your iron because it gets low in pregnancy so something like a breakfast cereal with added iron is good.

I would have a look online as I will inevitable not have remembered it all.

I had a hard time last time letting go of my Starbucks White Mocha's...Mmmm. I'm already dreading when I have to say "no" to them the next time 'round.

I read it on the internet. It apparently contains caffeine.
