Scorching hot baths...

That's it. Everything else I do is okay in pregnancy. I eat things in moderation if they are 'bad' pregnancy foods. But I never cut out anything completely. If I wanted chocolate, I ate chocolate. Just a teeny bit IYKWIM. I don't drink anything with caffeine in it so that isn't a problem either.

I can't wait!

I once heard about a study done where women who ate dark chocolate regularly during pregnancy had happy and calm babies. Had to google it after reading this post... found a few articles - here's one: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3604275.stm

Good thing I think, because I LOVE dark chocolate!!

I also will hate to give up coffee, and I plan on trying to cut down well in advance of my May start by weening myself to half caf.

I've drasticaly cut out alcohol already but still enjoy a drink once in a while so that will be tough "when I really want one" to not be able to... but the 'sacrifice' will be well well worth it!

Oooh.. I think I might have to add more dark chocolate to my list of things to eat during pregnancy (I love dark chocolate too!)

I'm going to cut down on caffeine -less coffee and pop, though really I have cut that down a bit over the years anyways (hard to find a good cup of coffee sometimes).

I really like Sushi, I think I'll miss that. though I might not give it up entirely. California rolls would be safe.

Heya a few months ago i would have said alcohal but i am really off it since i started dieting - luckily haha

Anyway now i would probably say runny eggs!!! soft cheese and pate.

I will still drink tea - i dont drink that much and theres hardly any caffine in it!! I dont have a particularly sweet tooth so dont eat much chocolate so will still have it occaisionally.

xx

The reason to avoid over doing caffeine is that is can give the baby a low birth weight but you do not have to cut it out just have it in moderation.

That dark chocolate study with calm and happy babies is hard for me to believe. I had some dark chocolate most days while pregnant and my son is hyper-active and is NEVER still unless he is asleep. Lol.
