I will take folic acid and cut down on caffeine and then DTD every 1-2 days (aim for everyday but not get worked up if we miss 1). Partly since that way you can not miss ovulation like you can with tracking and partly because I have got pregnant 3 times (2 MMC's and with DS) and my method worked within the first month of trying each time. I also think just DTD almost everyday is a lot less stress which can also effect getting pregnant.

I would love to be able to just go with the flow but I am so worried about our ages when we do start to TTC and not being able to get pregnant!
I am already charting as I have never known about my cycle and know getting to know my body and when it is doing things is a huge relief to me

I think we will make sure we dtd as much as possible around ovulation time and then the rest of the time just go with the flow!

I think it will drive me crazy if we end up trying for months and months!!

Im not sure yet what we will do. Last time I got off the pill before the brake and the cycle was all over the place. The first 4 months we just went with the flow, maby tad mor bd. But nothing happened and in the fith cycle I used OPK, got pos on that (and the only month I felt the ovulation!) and got pg with my DS.

Now I got off the pill in January to regulate my cycle. Have had 2 af and it was fairly regular, hope it will be like that this time (af due tomorrow). I think we will try to go with the flow or bd every other day but Im geting impatient now so I might buy OPK's hehehe

Charting means writing down emotions/different physical feelings - as for temping, you can check your basal temp the same time (or within half hour of before and after that time frame) to write down on those charts. Basically that helps you figure out a pattern of when you're going to expect aunt flow or when you're possibly ovulating. The temps show when you already ovulated while the OPK (ovulation prediction tests) tells you when you will ovulate (within the 12 to 24 hours time of the test). There's also prenatal vitamins to take once a day to provide the folic acid for baby's development- it's most critical in the beginning of conception.

When I try for number Baby no. 2 I will be using my monitor and dtd more!! I have used my CBFM this month to figure out my ovulation date and my LP as that was a problem last time and I have started taking B6 100mg to ensure my LP is better this time to save months and months of trying as last time I fell pregnant the first month I started taking it after 9 mths of nothing.

6 mths today of TTC No. 2 Yippeee!!!!!!!!

we'll be using the CBFM and dtd more often, other than we won't stress as when we got our bfp it was the month we stopped worrying and just went with the flow
