This was my first month using my CBFM. I'm still breastfeeding fairly frequently and I used OPKs one month a few months ago and my luteal phase was only 9 days long. So now I'm going to make sure they have lengthened before June. I'll take B-6 if necessary.

I am on CD3 now and started taking my temp right from cd1, I must have known that AF was on her way lol. The only thing I did last month was track my cycle and keep an eye out for ewcm and ov pain.... now I'm intrigued to see if my temps tally with my own predictions.

I got pg within 3 months on CBFM, but cannot afford the sticks if I'm not trying! Lol! I have it still though and was pleased to see the price of the sticks have halved!

I never did anything other than OPK's when I concieved my daughter - its only since being on BnB that I realise that there is so much more to know about my body.

I am 6DPO today and soooo wish I was in the TWW

The sticks are sooo expensive but I got the monitor and sticks off ebay for a better price!

Creighton Model is a type of chart that, like I said, is based completely on observations of your CM (cervical mucus) throughout the day. Here's a link to some more info (although, it doesn't really give details on the method):

http://www.fertilitycare.org/creighton-model/

I did BBT charting for a while, but I often forgot to take my temp first thing in the AM before I got out of bed. Also Creighton Model is supposed to be really accurate, and some people use this completely as their method of family planning. It's the cheapest birth control I've ever used!

I started using it because I just wanted to know more about what was happening during my cycle, but another great thing about this type of charting is that it should help you identify signs of fertility/infertility. I've been doing it for 5 months now, and my instructor has been able to look at my chart and tell me if I'm at risk for any types of infertility.

I started charting this cycle in order to get a handle on things. I think it's awesome to know what my body is doing, but in some ways it makes me more nervous and worried when things don't seem to be completely textbook!
