Aww thank you so much everyone! It's really really put my mind at ease. I actually was thinking that what we'll do is me and OH move into Isla's room (not that much smaller) and turn our room into a nice bedroom for both of them and have some fitted wardrobes put in for more storage space.

Now I can just concentrate on getting myself fit and healthy for August!!! Whoooop!

Thanks again everyone, it's been a real help xxx

Your not selfish at all I shared with my sister until I was 18 and we moved to a house where I could have my own room at one point all 4 of us children shared a room and it was actually quite nice

Children like to share rooms and I do not see any problem with it at all

Getting your children into a good school is very important and certainly does not make you selfish

Go for it x

You're not selfish at all. I shared a bed with my sister until I was 10 and I loved it. We used to have little chats before we went to sleep and there was always someone there if you had a nightmare. I think it's lovely for kids to share a room.

Not at all.

We live in a 2 bedroomed house and could afford something bigger really but we rent and our landlord is reliable so we feel secure here and do not plan on moving before number 2, so they would have to share a room for a few years. I shared a room for years and DS is moving into the larger room soon anyway so it should be fine.
