I am concentrating on making sure my 1st LO is getting a lot of firsts out of the way and also giving her a chance to be the 'baby' for a bit longer. I would also like to learn to drive and we need to sort our finances out a bit, but nothing to drastic.

Get an implant put in! By the time you've faffed making a doctors appt to get it taken out, you'll have reminded yourself why you're waiting lol
Plus it has to be cut out of your arm...ick...(yes I have one, I'm finding it a good enough deterrent so far!)

I just have to keep reminding myself how much better it is to live together for a while first and that if I wait til Sept, my daughter will be in full time school and my son in nursery, so I will have a few hours a day to sleep off the tired bit of pregnancy -no way would I cope with my hyper 2 yr old while pregnant without that lol x

Lol, I won't do this for me, cos I want to stop all hormonal contraception a few months before trying, so around June, so wouldn't be worth it for me. x

I think that's kind of why we're all here, right? I'm assuming that most of us are all WTT but anxious to get on with it, and we just need a community of other women who are in the same boat. I know for me, a place like this where I can relate to other people's stories and frustrations (and they can relate to mine) really energizes me and gives me the strength to stick to our goals.

I second what other folks have said too - I (often) have to remind myself of how much better our lives will all be if we do wait and setting goals to meet before TTC.

I wish I had some tips! I finish my course in december (degree in adult nursing) and need to wait until I get my first post before TTC. But I just want to start trying now!!!! I'm just trying to keep busy and distract myself and do things I won't be able to do as easily when we have a baby. It does get depressing sometimes though.
