What do you consider NTNP to mean?

So what exactly do you consider NTNP to mean? I am a little confused by it as it seems like everyone has a different idea.

I had 2 MMC and DS so 3 pregnancy's and each time we just DTD every 1-2 days and it worked within the first month each time. We did no charting or anything like that but I classed that as TTC. We have had some "oopsy's" recently and I get the feeling DH does not care about contraception so much (and we have just ran out). So if it goes on like this and we DTD as normal (DH works nights and we have a baby so it is not like it is all the time) is that WTT or NTNP?

I have wondered this too! I didn't use anything to aid TTC when I was trying for DD2 except for checking for ewcm.

I would consider it NTNP, only for the fact that you're ok with not using contraception constantly right now.

As for the charting - we wont be charting either when it's our turn and I still would consider that TTC.

I think it's just a personal preference, hun. No right or wrong answer =)

I see NTNP as DTD like you would any other time but just not using any protection to prevent pregnancy.

NTNP for me was no contraception but not charting my cycles either so I didn't know when I ovulated

I think NTNP is having sex when you feel like it, and not trying to hit a specific window of fertility. No charting, no counting cycle days, no nothing. Just sexy time when you feel like it and not using protection.

For me NTNP is not charting or anything, but not using protection, and not really getting too bummed if you don't fall pregnant, but also being happy if you do. Sort of like, you're ready for a baby if you get pregnant, but if you don't, it's all right. Just having fun DTD without contraception.

We dtd every other day but didn't chart or temp etc but to me that's still ttc as we wouldn't normally have sex every other day!

Ntnp to me is doing exactly what you would normally do just without any kind of protection. So whether it be having sex once a week, one a month, whatever, just not trying to protect!
