Feminax (or the cheaper boots brand) is about the best thing I can think of. Chocolate too, hehe.

Are you normally regular? I just ask because with DS I got BFN's for 3 weeks before I thought I was pregnant and the only reason I believed them at all was because I had very bad "period" pains which I guess was stretching.

That is the only thing I can think of that helps. When mine are really bad I send DH out for the boots paracetamol and codeine tablets, have a take-away followed by chocolate, DH takes pity when they are really bad (not like him) and gets me a hot water bottle then an early night. Every now and again I faint they get so bad but I am thankful that I often go months without them.

If they keep getting worse each month I would see your GP. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh, you poor soul...

As tough as it is to get going when you feel like that, gentle exercise can really help. And also if you focus on your breathing (almost in a labour kind of way!)- might sound dumb, but can help!

Big hug

I have the same problem
Have you tried mefanamic acid? I had it prescribed by the doctor because they were so bad, caused me to vomit and faint etc. Co-codamol also helps but makes you really drowsy.
A hot bath always seems to work for me though, just dose up on strong painkillers.
Hope you feel better soon, it's awful x

One of my docs told me that I should take ibuprofen in advance of getting the period. She said that would help prevent getting really bad period pains. You should get some feminax and keep a hot water bottle on your belly. Drink camomille tea.
