Yes... facebook baby photos are the worst! I feel bad for feeling jealous but I am jealous in a happy way... like, "good for you. Now. When exactly is it ever going to be my turn?"
And a girl at work is TTC and loves to talk about it nonstop.
Sigh.
It will be our turn, though, wont it

I know exactly what you mean. My best friend and I decided about 12 months ago to get our partners to to try for children (so we could do the whole pregnancy thing together). Her Hubby was a little more willing than mine. She told me in July that she was expecting (I was pretty jealous and tried the whole tantrum thing with my hubby). Anyway he finally agreed that I should have my IUD took out after christmas. So happy as I was that we had progressed, then my sister-in-law announces she is expecting to us on boxing day. I was so jealous I couldnt bring myself to congratulate her and just smiled. So anyway I had my IUD removed in Jan and have had 2 AF since and regularly testing for ovulation too. Then two weeks ago my best friend gives birth (he is gorgeous and I feel so badly down and out) and then in the same week my brother announces his girlfriend is expecting (even though she is on the pill) and about three others on facebook post their scan photos and to top the whole week off my friend tells me her sister (who i know) had an accident and is preganant too!!!! I know I am a little further than some in that we are TTC but it is so frustrating when those who are even trying get pregnant at the drop of a hat! Why not me I ask myself

It does seem like EVERYONE and ANYONE is getting pregnant without trying. Hopefully you become pregnant soon!! and its hard to be jealous of the ones you love but your time will come soon. Hang in there

Hey Mrs Mc, i had a miscarriage in apr 2009 and my gyno asked me to wait for 6 months to try again. it was very frustrating not only because of the waiting time but also because 3 of my colleagues were pregnant at that time. i felt very jealous and self pity and side effects of bc pills made me feel like just punch anyone and everyone i meet!! it was sheer madness. but my friend used to tell me "dont worry, God is working on a masterpiece just for you and when the time right, he will give it to you". it took me 13 months from my miscarriage to get a BFP and i completely understand how you feel.

keep telling yourself "I am getting the most wonderful baby and the small price i pay is to wait for a little while".

Good luck to you!!
