Good I was hoping I wasn't the only one. He says he doesn't want anymore cause he is already 30. Who cares?? What's the difference in 30 and 32? Not much

Not a lot huni, tell him men and women are having babies older now. My OH will be 36 when we try in sept and I'd like 2 more, so he'll likely be nearly 40 by the time we have our second together. My dad was 50 when my little sister was born.

My OH has agreed to WTT in sept, but it wasn't a simple decision, I think I wore him down. He's always wanted us to have children "at some point" and I even knew he wanted marriage and children with me before we got together seriously (we dated for a while first). At first he wanted me to wait til my youngest child was in full time school (september 2013) to even start trying. then he said we could have a baby then, but I decided to ask for a 2012 one. My excuse? BOTH MY OTHER CHILDREN WERE BORN IN EVEN YEARS SO OUR NEXT NEEDS TO BE. I'm not kidding I said that AND he went for it.

Then I explained to him autumn/winter 2012 was an expensive time of year so a summer baby would be better. And there we go, septemeber 2011 TTC was decided upon lol x

we have technically agreed, but part of me is worried that he is going to change his mind when the time actually comes. my OH tends to be super flaky when it comes to this stuff!

What if you get pregnant straight away though? That would make you 3 months for your wedding day - I was showing by 6 weeks and in maternity clothes by 12 weeks with my first 2!!!!! lol. I hope your TTC goes well and you fall quickly, but I also hope you don't show like I did or the wedding dress may not fit lol x

My OH is waiting for me to catch up to him, if he had his way I'd come off the pill now and we'd 'see what happens' (NTNP).

Whereas I'm looking at our current situation (living at my mum's, working part time, him unemployed / on the sick) and for me it isn't enough that we're emotionally ready for a baby I want us to be financially ready (or at least in a stronger position than we are now). It's not just about what we want, it's about what the baby will need when they come along. They don't need mummy crying every time she checks her bank balance.
