I was told that stretch marks are hereditary. I had a ton pre pregnancy so I'm not going to notice a few more.

For the girls in the UK poundland sell bio oil under another name but with the same packaging

I used palmers cocoa butter and I got two little stretch marks by my hip! It's good to keep your skin supple!

I still use the cocoa butter now, it keeps my skin soft and I love the smell! Reminds me of when I was pregnant too

I won't mind it means a bit of attention for me

I think everyone is so different and if your going to get them your gona get them!

I never had one until 35 weeks then BANG! Have lots and lots of them 3 years down the line they aint going anywhere.

I used Bio Oil, Cocoa Butter and lots more but i think im just one of the people whos skin is not so strechy

I then had an emergancy c-section so my stomach looks pretty much like a shark atack now

There really is nothing you can do to stop them, if they are going to happen no cream or oil will stop that. It happens deep under the skin where nothing you rub on you will reach. But if it makes you feel better then you may as well try it because even though I knew full well that nothing helps I still felt like bio-oil made me feel more in control ot things, which is mad I know!

Most people I know got really bad ones but I had a small bump (i was told I had strong stomach muscle, clearly I do not now, lol) and I did not get them while pregnant. It was once my bump was gone and I dropped the weight that i got a few faint ones but they were faint. So it is not always really bad anyway, although I am sure I will get them next time now.

I've got a few on my body as it is, just from puberty and so on - mainly on my boobs and a few around my hips, but they're very feint and have always been white, so not really a problem. I presume I'll get some in pregnancy.

I'm not massively worried about it - i'm not a bikini wearer as it is, and I'm not sure it's worth worrying about something you can't do anything to prevent - it's luck of the draw!

If theyre going to happen, they will and theres not much anybody can do about it. I used cocoa butter, bio oil and sanctuary. I still got loads!

I've got lots of them because of putting on too much weight too quickly. I think I will get loads more if I get pregnant. I was told that there is nothing you can do about them but supposedly bio oil helps fade them a bit. I did buy some but haven't the patience to keep using it.
