I am obese, have had less that 6 periods in the last two years. Have trouble sleeping. Do not have excessive hair or hair loss... dunno i just a bit over the whole thing so im going along with wat the doc says...

Hi Squarepants

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time of it at the moment. It's horrid when OH won't give you a TTC date- I'm in the same boat.

On the positive, he does seem, from what you've said, that he is saying that he wants to have kids somewhere in the future, but just not giving you a timeframe.

I'm wondering if he's feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment with your wedding day fast approaching? Men don't deal with lots of things together well, and particularly if they're BIG, emotional, life changing events like getting married and having babies. Perhaps it's all he can do at the moment to focus on the wedding...?

With regards to the PCOS, as a previous poster said, plenty of women fall pregnant with PCOS- I've even read storied of people who have PCOS, have only had a couple of periods in the previous few years...and then fall as soon as they start trying. The important thing is you are going to get checked out, and you'll have the advice on how to manage it from a specialist.

I hope things work out for you.

I'm in a similar boat hun. We were about to book the wedding but he is no-where nearly on the same page as me... probably another book!!! I've given him plenty of time so I think it's not happening anymore. But if you think he's just scared of the unknown or just doesn't want to 'grow' up then try and get through to him..

Sorry about being diagnosed with PCOS but many people conceive fine and being pregnant normally helps!! I'd be the same about TTC after that though xx

sorry u are going through this My OH is exactly the same when it comes to the TTC subject, just brushes it off, jokes around about it and hissy fits follow. I think u need to sit down and try the talk with him, now u have PCOS it needs to be brought up that it can effect fertility. Maybe u could talk him into NTNP? rather than full TTC x
