Question for those WTT baby 2!

Hey!

I just have a little question for those of you WTT for your next baby ..

Does anyone else worry that they couldn't love the next child as much as their first born? My little boy means the absolute world to me, I just can't imagine loving another baby this much! Of course I know I would love any child of mine, but part of me thinks I would always favour, Jayden! Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks like this!!

Hun I feel the EXACT same way! I wrote a thread about this a while back, can't remember what it was called though. If I find it I'll let you know so you can take a look.

My little girl is my world, I adore her. She is without doubt the single most important thing in my life and I worry all the time that I couldn't ever love another baby the same way. But after posting my thread and also speaking to friends that have had more than one baby it seems that it's a totally normal feeling and your heart just expands. The more children you have the more love your heart has. It doesn't mean there will be any less for your current lo.

X

Hey again, I can't seem to put a link to my thread about this but it's called 'terrified of my feelings if I have number 2'.

You should have a look, some girls had some really great advice and things to say!

although i havent even had number one yet...i think that as soon as you have number 2 you will be flooded with the same feelings that you had when your first was born. x

I didn't think I would love my dd as much as I do, so I'm not too worried about sharing my love! I just don't want her to feel neglected as I know how much time newborns take up! I'm sure we'll learn to get around that though!

When I had my first daughter I was SURE that I wouldn't be able to love another child as much, or that my love for her would change. I literally sobbed the whole way to the hospital to give birth to #2 .. of course I was wrong. The love isn't divided in any way, it's just like your heart grows. I'm really looking forward to seeing what it will be like when we are able to throw #3 into the mix!

This is a helpful thread as yes it's crossed my mind too.
But then I imagine the bliss of my two children playing together in a couple of years, and I just know it'll be the best xx
